Housing in Sackville is mainly single family dwellings with some apartments. The strength of Sackville is the older housing with lots of character and variety of neighbourhoods (Middle Sackville, By Silver Lake, Bridge Street area, Fawcett Estates, etc.)
Currently,there are two subdivisions under development with land available. Ridgewood Estates is located off of Main St. within walking distance of downtown, new civic centre, high school and less than a minute to the Trans Canada highway. Spruce Acres subdivision features larger lots for privacy, municipal water service and is only minutes from downtown.
