This is an installation sculpture made for this site. The materials are saplings [birch, maple cherry and willow] that are gathered from around Waterfowl Park. The inspiration for this work came from a roundel on the corner of the window molding [that is unique to me] in the parlor of the Boultenhouse Historical Museum in Sackville.
This art is part of the site as the reflection is part of the art. This art is a conduit to see nature in another way and enjoy art along with it. The artist wishes that the work speaks of a quiet experience which lets the birds take rest and shelter on and below the sculpture. —Roy Staab, U.S.A.
