2017 CLEAN-UP WEEKS AND HHWD
This year our Spring Clean-up will be held during the week of May 2nd to May 5th, 2017. Citizens are encouraged to clean up their properties and have their waste materials hauled away at this time.
RESIDENTS ARE REQUESTED TO HAVE THEIR GARBAGE PLACED AT CURBSIDE THE DAY BEFORE THEIR REGULAR GARBAGE COLLECTION DAY.
Items that WILL be picked up in addition to normal household garbage: bagged leaves, furniture, appliances, tree limbs no longer than 4 feet, neatly tied in bundles (not entire trees) and construction debris, up to 50 kg (placed in a separate pile).
Items that WILL NOT be picked up: cars and car parts, trees, brush, or Household Hazardous Wastes, or items from apartments greater than 4 units (currently not receiving municipal pick-up).
BLACK GARBAGE BAGS WITH CONTENTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
SPRING HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE DAY will be on Tuesday May 2nd, from 2-7 pm at Public Works, 101 Crescent St.
ADDITIONAL CLEAN UP WEEK will be held the week of July 25th to 28th.
FALL CLEAN UP WEEK will be held the week of September 26th to 29th.
FALL HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE DAY will be on Wednesday, September 27th, from 2-7 pm at Public Works, 101 Crescent St.
PLEASE MARK THESE DATES ON YOUR CALENDAR!
The following items WILL BE accepted as E-Waste:
Computer towers, servers, laptops, monitors, keyboards, mouse, scanners, printers, fax machines VCR’s, DVD’s, stereos, calculators, telephones, pagers, typewriters, audio/video equipment and all computer cords.
The following WILL NOT be accepted as E-waste: Televisions, microwaves, any type of appliance (toasters, kettles, grills, fryers, etc.).
These items can be put out as part of your clean-up weeks.
