Sackville Resident Advisory – Reduced Water Consumption Notice for June 5, 2017

TOWN OF SACKVILLE

REDUCED CONSUMPTION NOTICE– WRITTEN ADVISORY

Date: June 1, 2017

In order to continue to provide safe and reliable water to the Town of Sackville, a major construction project is underway to upgrade the existing water distribution system on Lorne Street and St. James Street.

During the installation of the upgraded works on Lorne Street and St. James Street, it will be required to  Re-direct water through smaller infrastructure and therefore the overall capacity of the water system will be affected. At this time, it is anticipated that this work will take place between 9:00 am to 7:00 pm on Monday, June 5th, 2017.

During the course of the work, water will still be tested and safe to drink. However, you will most likely experience a drop in the available water pressure and flows and discoloration of the water. We ask all users of the Sackville water system to minimize water consumption throughout this period.

We appreciate your cooperation in this matter and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you have any questions concerning this subject, please feel free to contact us at the numbers below.

Sincerely,

Town of Sackville
