The Town of Sackville will be presenting the play “Sackville Stories” November 4 and 5 at the Sackville Legion. The play is made up of Sackville stories gathered over the past year through submissions and by interviewing interested people. It includes stories by many members of the Sackville Community including some residents of the Drew Nursing Home, and features live music. More than 15 Sackville residents of all ages are participating in the show, which is sponsored by the New Horizons for Seniors Program. Performers include: Susan Amos, Val Boorne, Fiona Brett, Tolkien Merrigan, Jasmine Cabral, Anna Kelly Spurles, Patricia Kelly Spurles, Peter Kelly Spurles, Ron Kelly Spurles, Marilyn Haugen-Strand, Theo Michaelis-Law, Creek Martin, Don Martin, Jeff Martin, and Karen Sears.
The play is directed by Ron Kelly Spurles. Performances will be held Saturday, November 4 at 7 pm, and Sunday, November 5 at 2 pm at the Sackville Legion. Tickets are $3. They can be purchased at Sackville Town Hall, at the door, or by clicking here and scrolling to the bottom of the page.
