Rug Hooking Workshop for Youth, presented by the Waterfowl Park Student Artist-in-Residence Logan Milne, Open House following
July 16th – Workshop from 9 am – 11 am, Open House for all at 11 am, at the Sackville Visitor Information Centre, 34 Mallard Dr.
The workshop will begin with a walk and landscape drawing from life in the Waterfowl Park, with Artist Logan Michelle Milne. After the walk there will be a small rug hooking workshop, with a fun tutorial on the process. All materials will be supplied. At 11 am Logan will give a brief presentation on her Artist Residency.

Art in the Park Workshop August 6
” Art in the Park”. Young people ages 8 to 14 are invited to join Waterfowl Park Artist-in-Residence Andrea Wilson to make willow branch sphere art projects on New Brunswick Day, Monday August 6 from 10 am to 11:30 am. Pickup and drop off will be at the Sackville Visitor Information Centre, 34 Mallard Dr. Participants are asked to wear sunscreen and bug spray, and to bring water. Andrea’s Waterfowl Park Residency involves her making installations using natural elements, which is the type of art the children will be making. Their art pieces will be installed in the park either during or after the workshop.
