MAIN STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT – (Dufferin Street to Queens Road)
Construction Start Date
Please be advised that the reconstruction of Main Street, between Dufferin Street and Queens Road, is scheduled to commence on Monday, August 20, 2018.
Initial work will include the removal of asphalt and the installation of temporary water along Main Street. Further work will include the upgrades to water, sewer, storm sewer and road reconstruction.
Although the construction site will be closed to through traffic for the duration of the project, property owners within the construction area are asked to use discretion depending on the level of work being completed in front their residence or business. The contractor will be making each property within the construction area accessible every evening, at the end of the work day.
