Outdoor Plays in the Park at Beech Hill Park

The Town of Sackville invites people to spend some time outdoors in beautiful Beech Hill Park to watch two humorous one-act plays which will be presented Thursday and Friday, August 16 and 17, at 7 pm. “The Proposal” is an entertaining look at love as told by Anton Chekhov, and “The Good, the Bard and the Ugly” is a spoof based on some of Shakespeare’s most well-known plays.

“We’re very excited to once again offering outdoor theatre at Beech Hill Park”, said Ron Kelly Spurles, Manager of Tourism and Business Development for the Town. “It’s a really lovely place to spend an early summer’s evening, and we think people will be delighted with these two light comedies.”

All performances are pay-what-you-can and are suitable for all ages. Patrons are advised to bring bug spray and portable seating if desired. Rain location is Sackville Town Hall. For more information, email visitor@sackville.com or call 364-4967.
