Please be advised that we will have a public works crew in the Wright Street and Main Street area later this week (depending on the weather) as we prepare to remove a retaining wall and install a new sidewalk between Fawcett Avenue and Wright Street. This work will also improve the sightlines at the Wright Street/Main Street intersection. Unfortunately, this project will result in the removal of three large maple trees on the west side of Main Street. We will be planting new trees in this area once the work is completed.
