The Sackville Arts Wall recognizes and celebrates Sackville and area artists who have attained International, National or Regional prominence and distinction in any field of art as well as honouring a Sackville and area citizen or group who has been instrumental in the cultural and artistic development within our community.
In 2017, The Sackville Arts Wall Committee and the Town of Sackville were pleased to add Julie Doiron, Thaddeus Holownia and Mary Connelly to the new display overlooking the Sackville Waterfowl Park. With the 2019 induction ceremony planned to take place in the fall, we are eager to once again recognize a new crop of artists and arts builders. Nominations are being accepted for all four categories: Literary Arts, Arts Builders, Visual Arts and Performing Arts.
