The Bordertown Festival ran May 22 to 26 in Sackville and included a variety of shows and presentations (for a full list of events visit www.sackville.com/bordertown).  The Festival is intended to be a celebration of art, music, and hospitality, offering a sample of Sackville’s many festivals, art galleries, local businesses, and restaurants. The Festival provides a platform for local non-profit arts and culture groups and venues to present a sample of what they do, all packed together in one weekend. As part of their annual process to consider possible improvements to the Festival and its impact on the Town, the Town of Sackville has created an online survey to get feedback from the public.

“From our perspective there were a lot of positive things that happened during the Festival”, said Festival Director and Town of Sackville Manager of Tourism and Business Development Ron Kelly Spurles. “But we’d like to know what the public think about it”, continued Kelly Spurles, “and of course we’re always looking for ways to improve it if we do it again.”

The Town is hoping to get feedback from local residents, local businesses, presenters and visitors. The deadline to take the survey is Friday, June 7. To access the survey click here or for more information contact visitor@sackville.com or call 364-4938.
