February 6-9th, 2020 will mark the return of Winterfest. For 13 consecutive years, this event has been a huge highlight of our Sackville Winters. With weather on the way, however, there have been some updates to our schedule.
Our Outdoor Dance Party and Fireworks scheduled for Friday Night at Bill Johnstone Memorial Park have been postponed until 6:30pm Sunday Night with the fireworks show now taking place at 8:00pm.
Additionally, the following events have been cancelled outright due to the availability of volunteers and facilitators:
Ice Sculpture Creation
Don Bernard Magic Show
Legion Luncheon
Winterfest Madness (Sackville Public Library)
Ukulele Strum along group 1:30 – 3pm
Saturday morning’s Fireman’s Breakfast
Despite these setbacks, we plan on plowing ahead with the rest of our Winterfest schedule.
