COVID-19 Updates From Local Businesses

In an effort to keep our residents informed as much as possible concerning the COVID-19 pandemic mitigation efforts, the Town of Sackville will be providing regular updates concerning the status of local businesses and services.

Business Updates as of March 27, 2020

Please check back, this news item will be updated as updates are received from local businesses. We recommend you also contact or research the business directly, as we will make every effort to ensure the information is correct and up to date, but the conditions and circumstances can change quickly beyond our control.

Aida’s Café – Open Tuesday to Saturday 9 am to 5 pm with free delivery over $10.  They accept credit phone payments and cash at the door. Phone: 536-2078

Ana Forlin HR Solutions: The Creative HR Lady – closed to anything requiring in-person meetings, but their services are still available remotely. They can be reached at or by phone at (506) 232-1104.

Atlantic Pottery & Gallery –temporarily closed to the public until further notice. All social media will remain active and correspondence checked hourly.

Bank of Nova Scotia –open Monday to Friday 9:30 am to 3 pm.

Bagtown Brewing– closed and their opening has been postponed.  Check Instagram for updates.

Ben’s Service Station Ltd. – closed.

Blairlyn Auto Clinic – is open for business.  Monday to Thursday 8 am to 5 pm, and Friday 8 am to 3 pm.  Drop off is available and they will do pick up and delivery.  They are accepting all methods of payment. Email address: Phone:  536-3611.

Boultenhouse Museum/Tantramar Heritage Trust – In accordance with the New Brunswick government Update on COVID-19, dated 16 Mar 2020, the museums of the Tantramar Heritage Trust will be closed to the public until further notice. Blooms – is closed to in-store business.  They are offering free delivery in town as well as porch pick ups from 11 am to 2 pm.  Orders may be placed for flowers and plants via: or by calling 536-1272.

Burger King – drive-through only open daily from 9 am to 8 pm.

Cackling Goose Market – will remain open but with reduced services: Starting March 20th, they will be open for customers Wednesday to Saturday from 10 am to 4:00 pm. Their retail Grocery and Bakery will continue to operate, and they encourage customers to call ahead and arrange a pick-up.  They can collect your items and have them ready for you to pick-up when you arrive. Their Restaurant is offering a reduced menu for take-out only. They have expanded their selection of GF Frozen Meals available for you to take and cook at home. They are also offering curbside pick-up and can accept payment over the phone or via e-transfer.  They will collect your items and deliver them to your car when you arrive. Their new overnight delivery service is also available to most addresses in NB, NS, and PEI.  They can ship GF Bakery and Grocery items direct to your home.

Cattail Ridge Market – In response to the Covid-19 situation they will remain open, however they are restricting hours on Wednesday morning and Friday morning to allow those at high risk to shop. Therefore, starting Wednesday, March 25th they will restrict shopping to ONLY those at risk from 8:30 am to 11:00 am. Regular shopping will remain throughout the rest of the week. Please help them spread the word of the “At risk” shopping hours Wednesday and Friday mornings from 8:30 am to 11:00 am.

Coastal Inn Sackville – is currently open to all traffic, with limited breakfast and no stay-over housekeeping services. They do not anticipate closing at this time. Working from Home not going the way you Planned?  Try a Coastal Inn “Home Office” instead.  They are offering daily and weekly special rates.  Call today for details 536-5555.

Cranewood on Main – is temporarily closed.

Downtown Diner –open for take-out only. They are open Tuesday to Friday from 11:30 am to 8:30 pm, Saturday and Sunday from 1 pm to 8:30 pm (depending on activity).

EOS Eco-Energy – currently closed to the public but staff are working from home. They are checking email and phone messages.

Fog Forest Gallery – now closed to the public until further notice, but their website is always open.  Emails will be checked daily.

Foodland – They are reducing their store hours from 8 am to 8 pm for the time being, to support their extra sanitation protocols and allow a little extra time for replenishment of shelves. They introduced Senior Shopping Hour for the first hour of the day at their stores, providing the most vulnerable among us with a dedicated time to shop for goods.

Gary Estabrooks Auto Service – open Monday to Friday, 8 am to  5 pm. Call for an appointment, offering pick up and delivery.  Accepting all payments.

Goya’s – take-out and delivery only with take-out at their side door. They have a portable debit machine and are open daily 12 pm to 10 pm.

Home Hardware – open Monday to Saturday 8 am to 4 pm. For those who are not comfortable to go into the store, they will take call-in orders, take-out to car, and have a hand-held device.

Holan Kitchen Chinese Restaurant – open for take out and delivery only. Everyone coming to pick up has to stand behind a line to keep their distance to ensure safety.

Hounds of Vintage and Ninth Wave Gallery – currently closed to the public.  Due to being closed they are offering tax-free and free shipping on orders placed online. Stock will continue to be posted regularly on Instagram and Facebook. Gift certificates are available to purchase in any denomination and can be sent electronically or by mail, for yourself or as a gift.  Extra precautions are being taken when cleaning, handling, and packing stock. Joeys –open for take-out and deliveries from 2 pm to 8 pm.

Jack’s – is closed for now.

Knuckle’s Truffles Chocolates – will be open Thursday and Friday this week from 11 am to 3 pm, chocolates and desserts only. Take-out only, please call first at 506-536-4861.

The Legion – is closed until March 31.

Live Bait Theatre – is offering online play readings for people of all ages, open to everyone to participate or just listen. Visit their website or contact them at for more information.

Marshlands Inn –Dining room Closed.  Open for accommodations.

McDonald’s – drive-through only 24/7.

Mel’s – open for now. Call to order for take-out, curbside & home deliveries.

Mount Allison University – for updates on the University visit

Napul’e’ Food and Wine Napul’e’ Food and Wine does not offer dine-in accommodation until the situation resolves. In addition to the take-out service they are offering free delivery service with a range of 5 kilometers from downtown for orders over $20 before tax. Painted Pony – take out from 3:30 to 7:30 pm.

Patterson’s Family Restaurant – Closed for now.

Pi by Crow – you can place your order by phone between 9 am and 11:30 am. Pick up at drive-through between 12 pm and 2pm. Call 506-549-1163.

Pizza Delight – take-out and deliveries Monday to Friday from 3 pm to 7 pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 12 pm to 7 pm.

Post Office – open Monday to Friday from 9:30 am to 4 pm.

Royal Bank – RBC in Sackville is operating on reduced hours starting March 20th.  They are now open Monday to Friday 9:30 am to 3 pm daily.

Sackville Craft Gallery – The Craft Gallery’s opening date this year is June 1, pending, instead of May 1.  Updates to be given.

Sackville Denture Clinic – The Clinic will be shut down until they hear from their society to let them know that it is okay to go back.

Songs Chopsticks – take-out and free delivery.  They are open Tuesday to Saturday from 11:30 am to 8:30 pm.  Next week they will be open on Monday as well.

Tantramar Gas Bar – Open. They ask customers to follow government protocol such as self-isolation if you have travelled in the last 14 days.  They will post any updates on their Facebook page.

Tantramar Motel – Open.

Tidewater Books & Browsery-  their website is always open for orders at  and they offer free delivery within Sackville or daily curbside pickup.  Email anytime.

Tim Hortons – drive-through only open from 5 am to 10 pm.

Windsbreath Celebrations and Retreats  – Closed until the end of April.
