In an effort to keep our residents informed as much as possible concerning the COVID-19 pandemic mitigation efforts, the Town of Sackville will be providing regular updates concerning the status of local businesses and services.
PLEASE NOTE – with movement of the Province to Phase 2 of the COVID-19 recovery plan on May 8 things may change quickly in terms of what businesses are open and when. As well as consulting the information below we strongly recommend that you contact the business you are looking for directly for updates.

Bagtown Brewing– just had it’s reopening on Saturday and it went really well! Regular hours are Friday 12pm – 6pm and Saturday 9am – 3pm.
Only selling beer “to-go” from their takeout window but will soon be letting people inside. Bagtown has also expanded its operations to include the Uptown Bagtown Boozy Market. The boozy market focuses on the retail aspect of our business and now sell a large variety of New Brunswick produced craft beer and cider. All of this product is in cans/bottles for people to buy and take home (we’re basically a liquor store!).

Black Duck Café – is reporting that they are permanently closed. They have been replaced by Fridgee – who are doing an online grocery service. www.fridgee.ca

Boultenhouse Museum/Tantramar Heritage Trust – The new hours for the Boultenhouse Heritage Centre are Tuesdays through Saturdays from 12-4 p.m. If anyone would like to arrange a tour outside of those times, please send us a message at tantramarheritage@gmail.com or call (506) 536-2541.
Blooms – A few new plant arrivals to show case when they open the doors tomorrow. The shop will be open Mon.- Sat. 10 am to 5 pm. Sun. 12 Noon-4pm. They will limit 3 customers at a time. They will also be offering private shopping times between 5 pm – 6:30 pm Monday to Thursday and 5 pm – 7 pm on Friday. Please book ahead. Porch pick up will still be available. They are looking forward to seeing you. Your support over the last couple of months has been very heart warming.
Burger King – drive-through only open daily from 7 am to 11 pm
The Cackling Goose Market – Current hours are Wednesday to Saturday 10 am to 4 pm. The Bakery and Shop have remained open and the Cafe and Restaurant are now open with a limited menu for take-out or to sit on their spacious front patio. Limit of 3 customers inside at a time, but they’ve installed a new take-out window for your convenience. Also, curbside pick-up, local delivery, and Maritime wide shipping are still available. Cattail Ridge Market – are open Monday to Saturday from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm. Limited to 4 customers at one time. Please only 1 shopper per family. People at high risk can call for special service appt. 939-3555. They are no longer accepting cash. Debit and Visa/Mastercard are fine.
Coastal Inn Sackville – is currently open to all traffic, with limited breakfast and no stay-over housekeeping services. They do not anticipate closing at this time. Craft Gallery – the Craft Gallery will be opening September 1.

Dave’s Rock Emporium – open Thursday – Sunday 11am-5pm.
Downtown Digital – is open again and also Purolator package pickups have started. Their new hours will be 12 pm to 6 pm Tuesday to Saturday.
Downtown Diner – restaurant is OPEN FOR DINE-IN with 10 people maximum. Hours Tues. thru Sun. 1:00PM-8:00PM.
EOS Eco-Energy – currently closed to the public but staff are working from home. They are checking email and phone messages.
Fog Forest Gallery – has reopened (with reduced hours) Thurs. & Fri. 10am-5pm with a collection of calming, nature-oriented artworks to calm the soul and feed the spirit. 536-9000.
Foodland – Open Monday to Saturday 8 am to 9 pm, and Sunday 8 am to 6 pm.

Gary Estabrooks Auto Service – As an essential service they are grateful to each and every client. They are updating their policies to keep their customers and staff safe and healthy. Due to social distancing protocols;
1) Customers are no longer able to wait for their vehicles during service, so they are offering to pick-up and delivery in the Sackville area.
2) They are open by appointment only and are unable at accept walk-ins at this time.
3) Entry must be through the main office door and limited to one customer at a time for drop off, pick up and payment only.

Great Canadian Dollar Store – Open Store Hours 9am-5pm.
Guardian Drugstore – Open Mon.-Fri. 9am-7pm Sat. 9am-5pm Sun. 12pm-5pm however, they have strict social distancing protocols in place: All of their aisles are ONE WAY … please follow the directional Arrows ➡️ on their floors. If you must come in, please respect social distancing of 2m or 6ft. They have lots of visual guides on their floors to help you with this. They are limiting the number of customers in the store at one time. Please be patient if they ask you to remain outside until the coast is clear.
Goya’s – As the virus has loosened in New Brunswick, they are reopening their dining area for up to 10 people only and keeping physical distancing. Mon-Tues. 2pm-10pm, Thurs. 2pm-11pm, Fri. 2pm-12am, and Sat. 2pm-9pm.
Hall Tire, Muffler & Auto Centre – open Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm, offering pick up and delivery. Non-contact payment options available.
Home Hardware –is open Monday to Thursday 7 am to 6 pm, Friday from 8 am to 8 am, and Saturday 8 am to 5 pm.
Holan Kitchen Chinese Restaurant – open for take out and delivery. Mon. 3-8pm, Wed. & Thur. 11am-8pm, Fri. 11am-9pm, Sat. 3pm-10pm, Sun. 12pm-9pm. Everyone coming to pick up has to stand behind a line to keep their distance to ensure safety.
Hounds of Vintage and Ninth Wave Gallery – Open Wed., Sat., & Sun. 12-5 pm Thurs & Fri. 12 pm-6pm Community masks and hand sanitizer will be mandatory for entry to the shop. (Curbside pickup available).
The Ice Cream Coop – Open from 2pm – 9pm, 7 days per week. Social distancing spaces are clearly marked and cash is accepted, although tap is preferable.
Jack’s Pizza – is open 3 pm to 11 pm on Friday and Saturday.

They still have a checkpoint at the entrance of the store to allow customers to screen themselves for symptoms and sanitize their hands. Pi by Crow – To serve you better they are now offering the Crows Food Box by Pi. This is a weekly preset assortment of meals that changes each week will be posted Sunday evenings. The box will consist of mostly frozen meals that you simply throw in your oven to cook. There will be 2 person and 4 person options that you can view through their Facebook page @Pibycrow and order through messenger. You then wait for a reply and only pay when you are sent an EMT password. There can be no menu substitutions. Order cut off will be Tuesday noon of each week. Orders will taken on a first come first serve bases. Their store take out window will be open Wednesday, noon – 2pm, Friday noon to 5pm, and Saturday 9am to 3pm for Crows Food Box pickup and single purchases of regular products such as Pizza Dough, teas, honey, salads and breakfast burritos. Playwrights’ Atlantic Resource Centre – PARC has temporarily closed its office and script library in the Crabtree Building of Mount Allison University but can still be reached by email at parcoffice@playwrigthsatlantic.ca. The PARC Playwrights’ Retreat is being held remotely this year and began on Sunday May 2nd in the evening. PARC is still offering assistance in the development of scripts through Home Deliveries and remote playwriting workshops.
