As a result of the coronavirus pandemic, this year’s Remembrance Day ceremonies will unfortunately be much different. There will not be a gathering at Convocation Hall. Legion representatives will lay wreaths before 11 am that day at the cenotaph, and there will be a small gathering of Legion representatives and invited guests at the cenotaph at 11 am. This is not a public event. Family members can purchase wreaths and crosses and lay them after the Legionnaires have left the cenotaph, and others are encouraged to pay their respects at any point after this on November 11, 2020 to avoid a large gathering. While this is a much different year, we will remember them. Lest we forget.
