This June, Sackville is participating in the ParticipACTION Community Better Challenge. Each year communities across Canada compete to be named “Canada’s Most Active Community” and win the grand prize of $100,000.
To win, we need YOUR help! There are three ways you can help:
- If you are an organization, you can register starting May 17th on the ParticipACTION website, and track any physical activity minutes that your organization does as a group beginning on June 1st. (i.e., school gym classes, group fitness, soccer practice, etc.)
- If you are an individual, you can download the ParticipACTION app anytime, and be sure to enter the correct postal code! After this, any “Move Minutes” that you complete after June 1st automatically count towards the Town’s goal!
- Come to our events! Throughout June, we will be hosting various events, including one EVERY Saturday! See below for more details.
