There is a new initiative from the Town of Sackville and Mainstreet Redevelopment.
The passport is a booklet that will be distributed around the Mount Allison campus, around Town, and at our Visitor Centre and other locations for visitors and residents. Students and other people with passports will then bring them to participating businesses who will then stamp them. Once passport holders have enough stamps, they will be able to submit their passport for a gift and enter a grand prize draw.
There is no financial contribution required from participating businesses, and we will provide the stamp you can use on the passports. You will not need to handle the passports other than to stamp them.
How Local Businesses Can Participate/What we Need
To participate, simply send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org by August 27 with the following:
- A copy of your business logo
- A maximum 10 word description of your business
- Your address
- Either a Facebook page or web address
- A phone number
And we will do the rest! Passports will be distributed in early September and we will have the stamps to you before that date.
Please note – this is the same type of passport we did last summer, it’s smaller and simpler than the holiday passport was. We will be doing a holiday one again starting in November, we will update on that soon.
