Bordertown Festival November 17 – 20 – event subsidies available for partners, applications open

The Bordertown Festival is back this fall with a scaled down version to coincide with the first Moonlight Madness on November 19.

Want to present a band, a play, a talk – or another cultural event to showcase your organization?

Bordertown is now accepting applications for presentation partners (subsidies available for non-profits), with a deadline of October 22.

Who can be part of the Festival? Anyone

Who can receive a subsidy to help offset the cost of their event?

Subventions are available to non-profit groups to help offer programming but with a lower risk to themselves. For-profit groups or organizations can also team up with a non-profit to participate (for example a non-profit could present a concert in a for-profit venue). We can subsidize up to 60% of eligible costs (artists fees and expenses and space costs if it’s not your space) up to $2000 (please note you must apply to us, and be approved by us, before we can guarantee any funding – making arrangements for our approval is at your own risk).

An application to be a Bordertown Festival partner is available here.

Please contact us at visitor@sackville.com if you have any questions and we look forward to working with you on Bordertown.
