Residents are invited to a Community Open House for the Trunk Sewer Renewal Project between Weldon and Princess Streets. The new sanitary trunk sewer is being proposed to follow the existing sanitary sewer location for the majority of the project, but some realignments are required for constructability purposes. It is expected that this project will be completed over the next three (3) construction seasons (2022-2024).
Staff from the Town of Sackville and our engineering consultant Englobe will be on hand to review the details of the project and discuss the proposed location of the piping on each property. Residents are invited to stop in any time between 6pm to 8:30pm to learn more about the project and ask questions. In addition, each landowner in the project area will be provided with a sketch of their property noting the location of the existing sewer pipe and the proposed new piping along with pre-easement documents. Landowners will have the opportunity to ask any questions they may have regarding the project.
The overall location of the project is as shown:
If you are unable to attend this meeting, a package containing an overall plan as well as a sketch of your property will be delivered to you.
