Spring Clean Up Bulk Garbage Collection Dates: 
Citizens are encouraged to clean up their properties and have their waste materials hauled away on the following dates.
Sackville: May 8 – 12, 2023
Dorchester: June 1, 2023
LSD areas: June 9, 2023
PLEASE MARK THESE DATES ON YOUR CALENDAR!
Residents should place their garbage curbside the day before their regular garbage collection day.
Items that WILL be picked up in addition to normal household garbage include:
Bagged leaves
Furniture
Appliances
Tree limbs no longer than 4 feet, neatly tied in bundles (not entire trees)
Construction debris, up to 50 kg (placed in a separate pile).
Items that WILL NOT be picked up:
Cars and car parts*
Trees and brush
Household Hazardous Waste
Items from apartments greater than 4 units (currently not receiving municipal pick-up).
*Residents in the former LSD areas can place up to four (4) tires not on rims out for collection.
Black garbage bags will not be accepted.
