We’re pleased to provide an update on the ongoing Lorne Street Storm Water Mitigation Project. Our team has been hard at work and we’re making great strides in improving our community’s infrastructure.
Street Paving and Closures
As part of the project’s progress, we will be paving both Crescent and Sloan Street beginning August 14th. For residents and visitors, please note that Charles Street will be closed for work beginning on the same day. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we continue to improve our infrastructure for the betterment of our community.
Sloan Street Opening
We’re pleased to announce that Sloan Street is tentatively set to reopen during the week of August 7th. We’re thankful for the community’s patience during the construction period and look forward to restoring normal traffic flow.
Water Shut Off at Sackville Gardens
Please note that there will be a water shut off at Sackville Gardens on August 16th. This is a necessary step as we upgrade our infrastructure. Importantly, we have planned the shut-off so no households will be affected.
Thank you again for your understanding and patience during this time of progress and improvement. We continue to work towards completing the Lorne Street Storm Water Mitigation Project as swiftly and efficiently as possible.
