Tantramar Municipal Roadshow: Bringing the Community Together

TANTRAMAR, NB – The Municipality of Tantramar is thrilled to unveil the Tantramar Municipal Roadshow, a key feature of our 2024 Priority Action Plan. This exciting series of community sessions will offer residents the opportunity to engage with Municipal staff, enjoy local treats, and exchange ideas. Spanning our five diverse wards from May 23 to June 19, 2024, each session promises to strengthen community ties and foster meaningful discussions.

These sessions are designed to encourage open communication between the community and staff, helping to address local issues and share important information.

    • Date: May 23, 2024
    • Time: 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
      • A BBQ will be held from 5:00 PM until the session begins.
    • Location: Dorchester Veterans Community Centre, 4955 Main Street, Dorchester, NB.

    • Date: June 19, 2024
    • Time: 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
    • Location: St. Ann’s Hall, 65 British Settlement Road, Westcock, NB.

    • Date: May 30, 2024
    • Time: 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM
    • Location: Tantramar Veterans Memorial Civic Centre Mezzanine, 182 Main Street, Sackville, NB.
  • Ward #4
    • Date: June 13, 2024
    • Time: 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
    • Location: The Sackville Music Barn, 18 Station Road, Sackville, NB.

    • Date: May 25, 2024
    • Time: 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM
    • Location: Β St Marks Anglican Church Hall Mount Whatley, 59 Mount Whatley Loop Road, Aulac, NB.

Jennifer Borne, Chief Administrative Officer for Tantramar, expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “The Tantramar Municipal Roadshows are a fantastic way for residents to meet their Municipal staff, ask questions, and share ideas. This initiative is aligned with our 2024 Priority Action Plan, and we look forward to speaking with residents from all over Tantramar.”

Mayor Andrew Black added, “These sessions are a perfect opportunity for our community to come together and have their voices heard outside of council meetings, in a more relaxed and collaborative space. We encourage everyone to come out and participate.”
