The New Brunswick Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DTI) will commence the rehabilitation of the Robbs Brook culvert on Route 106 (Main Street), near the Dorchester Veterans Community Centre. The project is scheduled to begin as early as June 17, 2024.
Project Details:
- Location: Route 106 (Main Street), Dorchester, near the Dorchester Veterans Community Centre.
- Start Date: June 17, 2024.
- Duration: Approximately 14 weeks.
- Traffic Impact: Route 106 will be reduced to one lane with traffic lights to manage alternating one-way traffic.
- Scope of Work:
- Lining the existing concrete arch culvert.
- Extending the culvert on either end.
- Creating a downstream energy dissipation pool.
Residents are advised to plan their travel accordingly and expect some delays during this period.
