E-transfers are acceptable payment for preregistration. Please, no cheques!
Note: This workshop and none of my future classes at PMDS are included in a class package deal where entrance is permitted without payment and registration. Students will not be allowed to enter class without payment.
Come to Perpetual Motion Dance Studio in Sackville NB to learn the Basics of American Tribal Style, Improvisational Tribal Style and Tribal Fusion with Siobhan Phoenix!

Be sure to wear proper exercise attire. Bring water and a yoga mat.
In this workshop you’ll learn the Phoenix Format which is my own blend of Tribal Style done with the left hip leading as well as the right to create muscular balance and creativity.
The two hour workshop will include a Gentle Yoga Warm Up, ATS Posture, Arm Flourishes, Floreos, Basic Turns, Arm Undulations and Taqsim. In the second hour we will slowly drill the basic arm, leg and feet positions leading into basic travelling steps, hip slides, hip locks on the up, chest slides/chest lifts and drops.
This workshop is an Introduction and a taste of future ATS/ITS and Tribal Fusion Classes at Perpetual Motion Dance Studio. The workshop and the continuing classes are perfect for the absolute beginner as well as a dancer who has had previous experience in either ATS/ITS or Tribal Fusion.
You’ll gain strength, flexibility and confidence learning to do movements you never imagined yourself doing! You’ll also enjoy a fun, supportive and high spirited dance community!
All ages, genders, races, spiritual affiliations are welcome. Children under the age of eighteen will need parental permission to take part in the workshop as well as classes.
