Liszt’s retirement from the concert stage spawned some of the greatest compositions in the piano repertoire in the decades that followed. This talk by Dr. Ross Osmun (Bishop’s University) will offer historical context and a brief analysis of the B Minor Sonata, followed by a complete performance of the work.
