Happiness (then Pizza!) workshop seriesAugust 18, 2017
Explore what real happiness is, through the lens of Bhutan’s Gross National Happiness project. Then feel welcome to take some pizza dough (provided) to the Community Garden Bakeoven, and have a community supper!
Led by Mount Allison Environmental Ethics prof, Barbra Clayton, we will spend every Friday afternoon in the summer exploring a different dimension of happiness, through activities, art and discussion:
July 7 – psychological wellbeing
July 14 – health
July 21 – time use
July 28 – education
Aug 4 – culture and traditions
Aug 11 – community vitality
Aug 18 – good governance
Aug 25 ecological diversity
Sep 1 living standards
Come to any or all – whatever interests you!
The pizza/bakeoven is optional, following the 2-4pm workshop.
This is designed for adults – all are welcome!
You can call ahead or just drop by for 2pm.
