The Vagina Monologues

February 4

The Vagina Monologues is an episodic play written by Eve Ensler and based on a collection of interviews with various women of different ages, identities, and backgrounds. The monologues address themes such as sex, violence, birth, love, and more. Join us on Feb. 3 and 4th in celebration of women’s expereinces and stories.

* Please note that there have been minor changes made to the monologues in efforts to be more inclusive and respectful of various gender identities and backgrounds.

Times:
Friday, Feb. 3 at 7PM (Doors open 6:30)
Saturday, Feb. 4, 2PM Matinee (Doors open 1:30)
Saturday, Feb. 4, 7PM (Doors open 6:30)

Location: The Vogue Theatre, 9 Bridge Street, Sackville NB. On Mi’Kmaq and Maliseet territory.

Parking can be found on the street along Bridge Street, Main Street, and Lorne Street.

Tickets:
$5 students, $10 general
Can be purchased at the MASU office in the Wallace McCain Student Centre, and at the door before the event. May also be reserved by emailing vaginamonologues@mta.ca

Proceeds go to Autumn House, a women’s shelter in Amherst, and Gignoo Transition House, a shelter for First Nations women and children located in Fredericton.
