Sackville artist Chris Down will give a talk on his work at the Owens Art Gallery at Mount Allison University on Wednesday, 31 January at 7:30pm. This presentation is a part of “Our Town”, a series of artist talks that intend to give audiences an opportunity to hear from artists living and working in the community. All are welcome to attend.

Chris Down has exhibited his work nationally at the Art Gallery of Calgary, Museum of Canadian Contemporary Art, Museum London, Forest City Gallery, the Owens Art Gallery, the Art Gallery of Windsor, and the Peter Buckland Gallery, among others. He has written features, reviews and catalogue essays for a variety of publications in Canada. He is currently associate professor in painting and drawing at Mount Allison University.
