We bid farewell to a cherished member of our community, Kenneth E. Nicol, who passed away on November 14, 2023. Ken's unwavering dedication to Sackville, especially through his 27 years of service as a Volunteer Firefighter, has left an indelible mark on our hearts. Ken's life was a testament to service, from his successful career in the Window Industry to his active roles in local clubs. His commitment to the Sackville Fire Department earned him a well-deserved Lifetime Achievement Award, highlighting his extraordinary contribution to our safety and community spirit. We extend our heartfelt condolences to Ken's family and all who knew him. His legacy of service and community involvement will continue to inspire us. Please join us in celebrating Ken's life on Saturday, November 25, 2023, from 2-4 PM at the Sackville Curling Club. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Sackville Fire Department, Sackville Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, or a charity of your choice. Despite the chilly weather and occasional rain showers, Beale and Inch are pushing forward to keep us on track. 🌧️❄️ Charles Street is gearing up for a makeover with new pavement set to be laid this week. And guess what? The pond work is on track to be completed by early December! 🍂 🔺Safety First! Please remember to stay off service roads and away from active construction areas.
