  • Education

Home to Mount Allison University, Canada’s top undergraduate university and the Tantramar Senior’s College.

  • Housing Costs

When it comes to buying a house and living expenses, your money goes a lot further in Sackville.

  • Arts, Culture and Food

We have more art galleries than traffic lights. Enjoy cafés, restaurants, pubs, theatre, lectures, and live music.

  • Active Living

Nature is at your doorstep and we have a variety of accessible recreation programs to keep your mind and body busy.

  • Safety

Our community is safe, period. And you’ll know your neighbours. In Sackville you can enjoy peace of mind.

Sackville offers superb outdoor opportunities for human powered activities in all seasons. We have many kilometres of groomed cross-country ski trails and snow shoe trails, uncrowded lakes and rivers to paddle on, country roads and trails with low traffic for cycling, as well as endless trails to explore on foot. There is little reason not to be active all year round for all ages.

We chose Sackville as our retirement town for so many reasons - great parks/outdoor pursuits, fantastic art scene - galleries, theatre, music and Indy movies. The local Seniors College offers a great selection of short courses and hobby related interests. Did I mention the Farmers Market, the Trans Canada Trail and affordable real estate!
