Community Development Grants Program
Each year the Tantramar is pleased to offer financial support to community organizations through the Community Development Grants Program (CDGP).
The Municipality is now accepting applications for the 2025 fiscal year. Applications can be submitted under four different categories. Click on a particular category to complete the application form:
- 2025 Operational Grant– Designed to provide operational assistance to local associations that have a primary mandate in compliance with Municipal priorities as listed in policy 1.4. Associations must meet the eligibility criteria to receive support.
- 2025 Small Capital Grant– Designed to provide monetary support to local associations that are pursuing a one-time capital or equipment purchase. Examples could include building renovations, sporting equipment, playgrounds, and other infrastructure costs. Associations must meet the eligibility criteria to receive support.
- 2025 Special Events/Projects Grant– Designed to provide financial support to local associations that are hosting a special event or would like to introduce or enhance a programming opportunity within Tantramar. Associations must meet the eligibility criteria to receive support.
- 2025 Sponsorship Grant– Tantramar is happy to support local organizations with smaller donation requests as part of the yearly budget discussions. Individual requests and requests outside of the budget process will not be considered.

The deadline to submit an application is October 15, 2024. In the interest of the environment, please submit electronically by clicking the appropriate grant program link above. Grants are reviewed by a Municipal Management team and recommendations will be submitted to Municipal Council in February, 2025 for approval (budget pending).
