Below are just a few of the many events taking place from August 9-11.
Friday, August 9
- Concert and Fun in the Square
- Time: 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM
- Location: Dorchester Town Square
- Enjoy live music performances from Stacey Read and her students, lawn games, and a dunk tank featuring local councillors.
Saturday, August 10
- Jailbird 10K Run
- Date: August 10, 2024
- Registration starts at 8:00 AM
- Sign up by August 8, 2024 to participate in this exciting 10K run.

- Fun Fair + Music in the Square
- Time: 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Location: Cape Road
- Join us for vendors, bouncy castles, a climbing wall, lawn games, a petting zoo, face painting, live music, and more.
- Kids’ Nighttime Dance Extravaganza
- Time: 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Location: Dorchester Veterans Community Centre, 4955 Main St, Dorchester, NB
- A fun-filled evening with music, dancing, snacks, and refreshments for kids aged 8-15.
Sunday, August 11
- Sandpiper Chowder Supper
- Time: 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM
- Location: Dorchester Veterans Community Centre, 4955 Main St, Dorchester, NB
- Enjoy a delicious bowl of sandpiper seafood chowder, roll, drink, and dessert. Fresh-made sky fries are also available for kids.
